AI SECURITY GUIDE · IPKALIX FIELD NOTES

Set sensible boundaries for AI data sharing

AI policies work best when people understand which tools and information are appropriate for their work.

01

Understand the real AI workflows

Ask teams where AI is useful: summaries, analysis, drafting or support. Identify tools and data sources rather than assuming every workflow is the same.

02

Define what belongs in a prompt

Create clear internal rules for customer identifiers, financial records, credentials and other sensitive information. Provide examples of acceptable inputs and safer alternatives.

03

Translate rules into test cases

Create representative prompts, pastes and attachments using sample data. Evaluate supported monitored tools and verify how configured policies behave.

04

Keep people in the loop

Explain any enabled recording and review processes. Provide a way to request an exception or report a blocked legitimate task. Revisit policies as tools and workflows change.
