Book a demo ↗Help authorised administrators view and control a managed Windows PC through a RustDesk-powered remote session, initiated from the IPKalix Shield console.
Integration implemented in agent 1.9.24. Real-device pilot validation is required before production rollout.
Enable Remote control in settings and configure the RustDesk engine URL. Use Start remote session on a managed computer's Remote actions page.
The agent prepares RustDesk and returns its connection details. The administrator uses a separate RustDesk viewer for screen viewing and mouse/keyboard control.
The preparation action is logged in IPKalix. Use company-approved permissions and user consent. Confirm the visible connection notice and actual access behaviour in your pilot.
Enable the integration and select an official RustDesk Windows engine download.
Request a remote session for the managed Windows computer.
Open the administrator's RustDesk viewer and use the returned connection details.
Confirm the user notice, permissions, connection behaviour and access lifecycle in a pilot.
No. IPKalix prepares a RustDesk session. An administrator connects using the separately installed RustDesk viewer.
This is an implemented pilot integration. Validate the chosen RustDesk version, CLI behaviour, password handling, permissions and real screen-control flow on a pilot PC first.
RustDesk supports self-hosted infrastructure. Plan and verify your relay and client configuration separately; entering an engine download URL alone does not configure a self-hosted relay.
The integration generates fresh credentials when preparing a session. Automatic expiry, revocation and unattended-access settings must be verified and configured for your selected RustDesk deployment.
